6. Root Smudge and Mid Tone

In toning, I go over what root formula and where you should be root smudging. It crucial in to remember your root smudge for the front should be 1-2 levels lighter to create the gradual halo effect. After doing the Scandinavian hairline, we rinse shampoo and apply Olaplex #4p to cancel some warmth then rinse. Watch this portion and make sure you write down the formulation!!

4. Foiling part 2

In this section, we discuss how to utilize a treatment in your foils for the most seamless foil. I talk about utilizing a hybrid weave on the sides, pivot points to watch for, when to tip out, and how to not get lost in the mohawk section. Our goal for the color today is to create a halo face frame and dimension with her natural. TIP: when watching the foiling portion, try watching each section then pausing and trying mapping out the placement. This will help you to grasp the technique faster and get you ready to try it out on your guests!

3. Foiling part 1

Let’s dive into foiling, we are doing a three-section foil placement starting in the back. Remember when foiling the back to work smarter, not harder, less Is better. This foil placement will help you to utilize bigger foils and achieve more coverage while foiling.
